DEER PARK RESIDENTS CHARGED WITH CHILD NEGLECT

Deer Park residents Thomas Lee Uphold and Tonya Sue Uphold have been charged with child neglect. Officers responded to the residence last month, following the report of multiple overdoses. A three-year-old child was found inside the residence; multiple individuals were taken to the Garrett Regional Medical Center for treatment. A District Court Commissioner issued criminal summons for the Upholds, charging each with child neglect.
