IDENTITIES OF I-68 VICTIMS RELEASED

The identities of those involved in Sunday’s fatal crash on Interstate 68 Eastbound have been released. Killed in the accident were John Welin and Karen Berneck, both of Roscoe, Indiana. A
passenger in the second car, Thomas Stevao of Centreville, Virginia was also pronounced dead at the scene. Twenty-five-year-old Patrick Kaczmareck was flown to a local trauma center for treatment of his injuries; Jacqueline Durham of Clifton, Virginia, was taken to a local hospital for treatment of her injuries. The Maryland State Police Crash Team continues to lead the active and ongoing investigations.
