Residential subdivision plans for the former Memorial Hospital site are being designed to attract a developer. The “conceptual plan” would provide a layout that would show potential developers the city’s vision for the nine-acre site. SPECS, Incorporated of Cumberland has been hired to develop the plans. Cumberland Mayor Ray Morriss says there will probably be fewer than 50 homes at the site, with a mix of single-family homes and townhomes that are appropriate for the area.
