FORT ASHBY SHOOTING INVESTIGATED

The Mineral County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a shooting in Mineral County on Saturday. The incident occurred near the Route 28 Bar and Grill, in the 8500 block of Frankfort Highway, north of Fort Ashby. The investigation is ongoing. Fire and ambulance crews from Fort Ashby and Short Gap were called to the scene just after 4 p.m. More information will be released, as it becomes available.
