WASHINGTON COUNTY SHERIFF RELEASES ROUTE 40 TRAFFIC RESULTS

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office and Maryland State Police released the results of a Route 40 traffic initiative on September 3rd.  Deputies made 11 traffic stops and issued nine citations and 31 warnings.  There was one drug-related arrest and three K-9 deployments.  State Police troopers carried out 22 traffic stops and issued four citations.  In addition, troopers made two drug-related arrests.
