Cumberland resident Jerry Lee Brown is being held without bond, after he allegedly assaulted a woman in the double digit block of Virginia Avenue on Sunday. He was arrested in the parking lot of Riverbend Court on Lamont Street. He was allegedly uncooperative with officers, and tried to walk away. He received a District Court Commissioner hearing. The victim did not require medical treatment as a result of the assault.
