In a post on Instagram, the singer explained that “random rib fractures” led his doctor to recommending blood tests, which uncovered the “rare” blood cancer multiple myeloma. He said he feels really hopeful and getting it off his chest is freeing. He wrapped up his video by saying he’s taking it one day at a time.
