MORRISEY ANNOUNCES FUNDING FOR STATE PARKS SYSTEM

Canaan Valley and Cacapon Resort State Park are among recipients of more than $19 million in West Virginia funds for improvements. Canaan will receive a million dollars for snowmaking equipment enhancements, allowing for a higher volume of snowmaking throughout the skiable area. Cacapon will receive $3 million for wastewater collection system repairs and necessary plant upgrades serving the lodge, cabins, golf course, and other recreational facilities.
