Another measles-related death is being reported in Pennsylvania. The Franklin County Coroner’s Office says a 39-year-old woman who died last weekend had several underlying conditions, including a recent diagnosis of measles with treatment. The Coroner’s Office noted the woman’s diagnosis met the Pennsylvania Department of Health’s definition for a measles-related death. Health officials in Pennsylvania have reported six deaths associated with measles during this year’s outbreak, though the CDC only recognizes two in unspecified states.
