YOUTH HUNTERS CAN TAKE BUCKS THIS WEEKEND

Youth deer and bear hunting season opens tomorrow and Sunday in West Virginia. This year, young hunters can kill a buck for the first time. The buck counts toward their two-buck overall limit, and they may also take an antlerless deer each day. The Natural Resources Commission approved the change after several years of requests from hunters. Officials say the season is meant to introduce young people to deer hunting.
