FORMER FUNERAL DIRECTOR DIES AFTER BEING CRUSHED BY TREE

Sixty-six-year-old Sheldon Weaver died this week after being crushed by a fallen tree. Weaver was the former operator of the Gerald Weaver Funeral Home in Woodbury Township. He was reportedly cutting down trees on a property in Hopewell Township Monday morning. His family made repeated attempts to contact him. He was found and later flown to Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, where he died in the operating room.
