TWO FAYETTE COUNTY CORRECTIONAL OFFICERS FIRED OVER REPORTED INMATE BEATING

Two Fayette County corrections officers are fired and another is suspended over the alleged beating of an inmate. District Attorney Mike Aubele confirmed the terminations yesterday. The DA says inmate Robert Stimmel was left with a brain bleed after the use-of-force incident during the intake process on October 8th. There is no word on whether the officers will be criminally charged.
