The West Virginia Trucking Association says a new executive order could save its members real money. Governor Patrick Morrisey signed the order on Tuesday. It temporarily allows highway use of red-dyed diesel. The administration projects savings of 20-and-a-half cents per gallon. The trucking group says some rigs fill up with more than 100 gallons at a time, so those savings add up fast.
