OBAMA BACKS MARYLAND QUESTION 3 IN NEW T.V. AD

Former President Barack Obama is urging Maryland voters to support Question 3 in a new television advertisement. In the ad, Obama says a yes vote would help counter Republican-led redistricting efforts in other states and allow Maryland to draw what he calls fair congressional maps. The commercial is set to air in Baltimore and Washington media markets. Governor Wes Moore’s campaign says it is spending an initial half-million dollars to air the ad ahead of next week’s election.
