WVU HEALTH NETWORK ADDING HELICOPTER IN PENNSYLVANIA EXPANSION

WVU Health System plans to base a 10-point-seven-million-dollar medical helicopter in Westmoreland County by 2027. HealthNet Aeromedical Services will operate the Airbus H135, its first helicopter based in Pennsylvania. Officials say the helicopter will support emergency medical services in the region. The move comes as Westmoreland Hospital plans to expand its specialty care.
