MARYLAND LAUNCHES STATEWIDE TRADES PIPELINE PILOT PROGRAM

Governor Moore has announced a pilot program to develop a pipeline for skilled students to access sustainable paid internships in construction, engineering, and maintenance fields. Participants will gain hands-on, on-site experience through the internships in areas like project management, design, HVAC maintenance, and capital planning at worksites in both Carroll County and the Baltimore region. The program will initially launch with three selected students from Carver Vocational Technical High School in Baltimore City and another three from Carroll County Career and Technology Center.
