PAIR ARRESTED IN GARRETT COUNTY ON DRUG COUNTS

Fort Ashby, West Virginia resident Alisha Lynn Bowman and Jeremy Edward Sweitzer were arrested on several drug charges in Garrett County last week. Deputies stopped a vehicle along Maryland Highway, near Youghiogheny Drive, for traffic violations. A K-9 scan of the vehicle resulted in a positive alert. Recovered were fentanyl, buprenorphine, Oxycodone, and drug paraphernalia. Following an appearance before a District Court Commissioner, they were released on their own recognizance.
