Maryland’s Sixth District Representative is remembering labor leader and civil rights icon Dolores Huerta, who died Wednesday at the age of 96. April McClain Delaney says she’s heartbroken by the loss of Huerta, who never wavered in the fight for hardworking Americans. McClain Delaney says, thanks to her leadership, workers have higher wages, better benefits and safer working conditions. Her rallying cry of “Si se puede” will continue to inspire generations to fight for justice.
