MAYOR, COUNCIL MEET TO CONSIDER CSX LITIGATION

The Cumberland Mayor and City Council met in closed session yesterday, to discuss pending litigation with CSX. Legal action that pertains to CSX has been the topic of additional Mayor and Council closed meetings in recent years, according to the Cumberland Times-News. At the outset of the meeting, Cumberland Mayor Ray Morriss read a required statement, indicating City Solicitor Michael Cohen, along with a litigation attorney were present at the meeting.
