
OAKLAND RESIDENT KILLED IN CRASH
A motor vehicle accident on Saturday claimed the life of 22-year-old Isabel Grace Pilcher of Oakland. She hit a concrete wall at the base of Backbone Mountain. Ms. Pilcher was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.

WOMAN CHARGED WITH ASSAULTING THREE, INCLUDING TWO OFFICERS
Cumberland resident Amber Diehl has been charged, after allegedly assaulting a person at a South Liberty Street residence, then two police officers who tried to arrest her on Saturday afternoon. Both of the city police officers and the victim were injured. Ms. Diehl was ordered held without bond at the Allegany County Detention Center.
MAN CHARGED WITH ASSAULTING WOMAN ON LINCOLN STREET
Cumberland resident Michael Thomas Sharon has been charged with first and second-degree assault and reckless endangerment. Sharon is accused of assaulting a woman in the 600-block of Lincoln Street. He was ordered held without bond yesterday at the Allegany County Detention Center.
